The UU Congregation of St. Johnsbury
is located near the corner of Cherry Street and Eastern Avenue (Route 2)
directly across from the new Catamount Arts Building.
The Universalist Unitarian Congregation of St. Johnsbury's actual address is Cherry Street, which is a one-way street, so you must enter Cherry street from Maple Street. The church is the last building on the right hand side of Cherry Street, just prior to entering Eastern Avenue. Handicap parking for Sunday services is available via the second driveway on the right before you get to the church.
From Route 2 heading East into St. Johnsbury:
As you enter St. Johnsbury on Route 2 heading east, you will head down Main Street. Continue down Main Street past the Fairbanks Museum. Take the second right after the Fairbanks Museum onto Maple Street. Take the next right onto Cherry Street. The Universalist Unitarian Congregation is the last building on the right on Cherry Street.
From Route 2 heading West into St. Johnsbury:
As you enter St. Johnsbury on Route 2 heading west, you will traveling along Portland Street. At the end of Portland Street, take a right onto Railroad Street, and take the next immediate left (just past the Passumpsic Bank) onto Maple Street. Take the second left onto Cherry Street. The Universalist Unitarian Congregation is the last building on the right on Cherry Street.
From Route 5 heading North into St. Johnsbury:
As you enter St. Johnsbury on Route 5 heading north, you will be traveling along Railroad Street. Continue down Railroad Street past Dunkin Donuts. Take your next immediate left (just past the Passumpsic Bank) onto Maple Street. Take the second left onto Cherry Street. The Universalist Unitarian Congregation is the last building on the right on Cherry Street.
From Route 5 heading South into St. Johnsbury:
As you enter St. Johnsbury on Route 5 heading south, at the traffic light at the bottom of Hastings Hill (near the Ford dealership and the Bagel Depot) keep to the left through the traffic light onto Railroad Street. Continue straight through the next traffic light at the bottom of Sand Hill Street. Take the second right after the traffic light, onto Maple Street. Take the second left onto Cherry Street. The Universalist Unitarian Congregation is the last building on the right on Cherry Street.
